Travis John Houston

–

Pleasant Grove, Utah

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Travis John Houston, who passed away at the age of 48.

Travis was born on July 6, 1978, in Provo, Utah, to David Royce and Laurie Robinson Houston. From an early age, Travis lived life with boundless energy. He was always on the go, larger than life, and had a presence that could light up any room. His contagious laugh, unforgettable smile, and magnetic personality drew people to him wherever he went.

A gifted athlete, Travis loved sports and especially excelled at baseball. He was named MVP and was known for throwing serious heat from the mound. His approach to life was simple: go big or go home. Whether on the field, in business, or with family, he gave everything he had.

Travis was an entrepreneur with a visionary spirit. He dreamed big, embraced new ideas, and wasn’t afraid to take chances. Beneath his bold personality was a gentle heart. He was a true teddy bear—a protector, fiercely loyal to those he loved, and always willing to help others. His generous heart and zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

In October 2004, Travis married Jami Brown. Together they built a beautiful family and were blessed with two cherished children, Kobe and Bailee, who were the greatest joy of his life.

Travis is survived by his beloved children, Kobe and Bailee; his parents, Dave and Laurie Houston; his brothers, Ryan (Kelly)Houston and Kaleb (Leslie)Houston; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Though his time with us was far too short, Travis lived with passion, courage, and a heart full of love. His laughter will echo in our memories, his strength will inspire us, and his love will remain in our hearts forever.
